Leal Elementary School is one of six neighborhood schools serving the students in kindergarten through fifth grade in Urbana, Illinois. Located in the state street area of Urbana, this example of Depression-era WPA project is one of two Urbana schools that house the elementary Dual Language program. Leal has open visitation of classrooms for current and future families every Tuesday and Thursday (Please do not bring younger siblings). ALL students receive a no-charge lunch and breakfast is served in the classroom after the tardy bell to any child regardless of need. Parents are invited to eat lunch with their students. Bring your own or order a school lunch by contacting the office before 9:00 a.m. Teachers can be contacted by email.
